Meet the Team
Owner/ Operator/ Dreamer
Becky Johnson
My name is Becky Johnson. I was born with a love for adventure, learning, and running around outside with kids.
After some years in education, I have decided to jump from teaching in the classrooms of Pagosa Springs, into the field of wellness and health.
After receiving some life changing healing, I decided to obtain my practitioner's certification in Quantum Energetics Structured Therapy. During this quest for wholeness, I discovered the great healing properties of salt and light.
Since all of this insight shouldn’t be kept to oneself, my friend Gwen and I decided it would be stupendous to share San Juan Salt Cave with everyone who needs a healing boost.
Co-Owner Joy Maker
Gwen Ray
Happy Day, I am Gwen Ray,
and I welcome you to San Juan Salt Cave.
In 1988, I married the cowboy of my dreams at the Baptist Church, now the Humane Society Thrift Store. We raised two daughters in our hand-hewn log home just outside of Pagosa Springs. For thirty-three years I worked for the local school district until my retirement in 2023 to take on this venture. My favorite family excursion is taking pack-trips into the high country. I am a camp cook, Jesus-lover, hiker, reader and am good with plants, puppies and eating popcorn.
I am your local certified HaloTherapist hoping you come to our salt cave to get away from the din of daily life, to clear your lungs, to pamper your skin and to relax and enjoy dry salt therapy over and over again.
Massage Therapist
